This Small Gravity

Music: Chris Sohre
Words: Marty Eigenberger

this small gravity in consciousness
pulls like the distant attraction
of some black hole we orbit
faint at first and formless
present without notice
nearly missed
most times ignored

one day the gravity is recognized
"oh that"
what is that?
an "ism"
catholicism
hinduism
plato's theory of forms
gravity's symbols for better or worse
but the gravity itself is the mind of the source
